DO BLACK LIVES MATTER?

Maybe the Police Officers Felt Their Lives Were In Danger?

In cell phone footage, behavior therapist Charles Kinsey lies in the street with his hands in the air.

Charles Kinsey (Black) is a highly trained behavior therapist who rushed out from a group home into the street to protect a patient (Hispanic) with autism.

"Mr. Kinsey is a hero today. He saved the life of that disabled individual," said Bower, who runs the center for the developmentally disabled where Kinsey has worked for more than a year.

I too believe Mr. Kinsey is a hero.  However, that does not change the fact that he was shot while lying flat on his back with his hands raised above his head while yelling the man beside me is holding a toy truck, not a weapon.  He’s still shot by a North Miami police office named Jonathan Aledda.  To literally add insult to injury Aledda’s partner, police officer Emile Hollant, lied to investigators in an attempt to cover up the videotaped attempted murder of the obviously unarmed African-American gentleman. 

Someone please tell me when will this be stopped and how.  Only time will tell if this disturbing criminal act will be somehow justified by the police officials.  Earlier Friday, John Rivera, president of the Dade County Police Benevolent Association, said a video of the shooting doesn’t tell the whole story.  Maybe Mr. Rivera can tell us better than our own eyes and ears what actually happened when he wasn’t even there.

Yet some still wonder why African-Americans are screaming, “Black lives matter!”  I agree that arming yourself against the police is not a viable answer.  That shooting police officers is not the answer but until someone in charge says enough is enough, you should think what would you do if police were hunting your children?  Would you want people to know that White lives– Irish lives – Italian lives - Hispanic lives – Jewish lives matter?

After reading this blog, please answer one question for me!  Do black lives matter?  This is the question we are currently faced with and America deserves an answer A.S.A.P.
